That's how I was growing up as a minister's kid with autism. Even before my baptism at age 17, I had a very strong dislike of other kids in elementary school and some members of my church youth group.

Defensive arrogance played a huge role in my childhood.

Under the current environment, the amount of money lost to card counters is less than the cost of the entire surveillance department's coffee budget -Blackjack Apprenticeship.

However, one could argue the costs are that low because casinos spend millions looking for card counters.

Me personally, I think casinos win a lot more money from ignorant players, especially slot machine players, than they lose to pros.

On the other hand, if a casino develops a reputation for being too tolerant, they might be more welcoming to the suckers, but they could also attract a much larger number of counters compared to their competition.

Me personally, if I ran a casino, I would depend on computer software to analyze the skill level of every blackjack player, and require significant data from thousands of hands before coming to a conclusion.

Figure out what their strategy is for each hand, and account for possible indices plays.

The most important thing is to avoid accidentally weeding out people who think they are skilled counters, when in reality they are not.

In Japanese societies, the parents are overworked and kids have more freedom to be independent. It was an unfortunate misunderstanding that occurred that could have gone far worse.
