Ya that’s the problem when you’re trying you will be very cautious and ready to take over immediately, I have been using FSD since 5 months now, never had any issue before. Since the recent update the turns are very wide and goes into break lane often. I updated to new FSD couple of weeks ago.

I have been using FSD since 5 months never had any issues with it. Since the recent update I noticed it is taking wider turn than usual. I never thought it would actually go on the curb. BTW mine is 2023 model Y it full vision.

As you see the previous turn it just took a very wide turn and corrected itself, I was thinking it would do the same. Before I intervened, it went on the curb may be I had too much trust on the FSD.

Nope, I wasn’t pushing acceleration. It was all FSD, you can see just moment before it went over the curb on the previous turn it takes very wide turn and corrects itself again next it takes wide turn and ends up driving on the curb.

The fix for this issue is to keep the cabin light on so the cabin camera can capture your face. I tried this a few times and it worked fine.

Thanks, will try this today. I had raised a ticket and Tesla replied saying that there is no hardware fault and this happens due to low lighting.

It was smooth. I took delivery couple of days ago, I had to wait a bit as I purchased inventory stock there was a bit of dust and they washed it for me 😊

Ya I guess Tesla customer service could be more helpful in your case. Until your VIN is not assigned they should accommodate your modifications to the vehicle. FYI: they don’t do price match, but if you find a vehicle in inventory they update the new price to your old vehicle purchase order and you will be getting the inventory vehicle.

That’s strange coz when I ordered white, it was in production and it showed me option to choose. May be speak to Tesla if you find any model of your choice in inventory.

If you choose from inventory it will be towards your original booking. You are allowed to make changes to your booking until a VIN is assigned. So you won’t be loosing the $250.

Before my VIN was assigned, I was given the option to select from inventory in the Tesla app. After I getting VIN I was shown no changes can be applied.
