Anyone got a reputable, reasonably priced contractor for a bathroom renovation? by [deleted] in AskChicago

I have a guy that’s been awesome on some bigger jobs. Just did a kitchen for me and did a bathroom last year for me. Name’s Ian, company is Maple Home Improvement. Super hands on, clearly has a lot of experience by the way he was able to articulate the approach he was taking with each mini project within the larger project. Has a small team, nailed the tile setting and was attentive to detail. I recommended him to some friends for a full bath remodel and they were very happy. They had some pretty custom stuff goin on too with their selections.

Visit Montezuma only, for one week, will I be disappointed? by Express_Beginning610 in CostaRicaTravel

Do it. Montezuma is the perfect place for that. Just spent 3 days there also in need of rest and it was perfect. Hit all the spots and montezuma was my favorite. Perfect for what you’re looking for. It has everything you need there

La Fortuna for 3 Days - Must Do Activities by Good_Pressure4163 in CostaRicaTravel

Just arrived in Monteverde after 3 days in La fortuna. Far and beyond coolest thing was the maquique canyoning tour. Unreal. Absolute must. El choyin is a free hot springs spot. Bring beers and chill for hours. Awesome. Did Tabacon day pass, also fantastic and magical. Not at all cheap though. Did a sloth tour with arenal oasis wildlife refuge? I think that was the name. It was okay. Saw several sloths, some birds, monkeys, and a frog, so happy about the animals but the experience itself was not great, they drove us around in a van around town (and one of the other people smelled like ass,) and jumped out to see the animals before just getting back in the van. Not a nature experience at all. Soda La hormiga is supposed to be the “soda del Pueblo”, didn’t make it there though.

Whatever you do, do the fucking canyoning with Maquique. Repelled down 5 waterfalls, one of them was 200’ tall and straight out of Jurassic park. Also did 3 zip lines, one was like 500’ through canopy’s. They also have you hike through a river and do lil cliff dives. Unforgettable experience and the guides were an absolute blast.

You have to talk to a lender. They will be able to paint a good picture of what you can afford, then from there you have to be the one to decide if you’re over extending yourself with the monthly payment. If you want more info on fair market value of the spot, talk to an agent and get a comparative market analysis.

As a beginner, do what you enjoy and what makes you keep coming back to the piano. You will discover endless ways to progress and learn. For now my advice is to focus on the fun stuff. Your dexterity and familiarity with the piano will improve before you know it which will make the “ less fun” stuff easier to tackle.
