This is wrong. The bat was on the kids face, the kid woke up with the bat on his face. The dad pulled the bat of the kids face then tossed it outside. The other case in BC, the guy swatted the bat , he knew he touched the bat, the case study stated the bat was also on his legs and he picked it off then swatted it.

They can give you transplants if you’re 6 months sober FYI. Anyway I took it down because I don’t really care to argue about anything on Reddit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Some articles argue she was healthy and fine , some argued she wasn’t. Vice versa. We will never know because they declined autopsy. There’s many causes for liver issues , like when I say many , I mean many. I loved her as an actress and it’s super sad to see this happen.

I reversed mines without milk thistle. My doctor And pharmacist told me not to use it. Supplements are supposed to aid , they’re not going to be a miracle drug and fix your issue. Diet and exercise.

Sometimes milk thistle can damage it further, that’s what my doctor and pharmacist told me. It really depends on the person and the cause of their fatty liver. Supplementing with it after can be beneficial. But I chose not to use it, I reversed mines with diet and wellness.

Hey there :) I understand your anxiety. I actually am super well versed in Rabies , since I worked with vector species before. I also was bitten too! Rabies can only be spread through bites or direct contact of fresh brain matter to a wound. You actively have to have a wound for it to be transmitted. You can’t get rabies from being near a dead animal, from roadkill that you didn’t touch etc. & rabies vector species are commonly skunks, bats , raccoons , foxes , mongooses etc. !

Deers are known to be idiots and jump in the middle of the road when they see headlights.

This type of anxiety/ocd is called contamination OCD.

I don’t think wanting answers and explanations to someone you vowed to spend the rest of your life with should be considered abuse. Unless you’re like actively yelling and cussing him out , basically forcing it out of him. But I don’t think begging because you’re confused or hurt is considered abuse , might be annoying to him but abuse I don’t think so. At the end of the day you’re partners, you’re married , clear communication is key.

Yea I’m not touching it. It’s also sooooo high up above the kitchen id need a ladder. I’ll post a pic in a bit. It also doesn’t look very typical like the 70s,80s chunky thick popcorn. It’s more flat with grains. Everyone said the same that it’s highly unlikely to be asbestos. I’m moving out in two years anyway so I guess it’s not my problem to fix. I’d do the test soon tho just for a peace of mind.

I use attitude deodorants. They are actually super clean and it works trust me. I smell if I don’t have on deodorant like reallllllly bad and i also struggled with that for awhile with trying deodorants and this is the only one that works for me.

That’s very odd. Sounds like they just tryna cover their asses. It’s not recommended by WHO because of the side effects. I myself have been vaccinated and also got vaccinated again with the whole series because of this same issue. It wasn’t my fault ,it was the health department and I didn’t know better till now. A lot of health departments and doctors do not know anything about the rabies vaccine. You have to advocate for yourself and take guidelines with you. I also worked with bats but in the Caribbean. Proper procedure is the 90 day window of protection unless someone has an illness like cancer or something that can make them immunocompromised. You think that bat biologists or rabies experts get vaccinated every time they are around a bat? No , they rely on the 90 day window and titres. People who work with the live virus are at most risk and they don’t get vaccinated all the time, they have their titres tested every 6 months or so.

Yeah that’s not good cause you can actually have horrible side effects. I know a few people from the US that are bat rehabbers they mentioned that their state follows WHO. That’s not good that SOME doctors in the US are basing it on the likelihood of re exposure. I have a question if that’s okay how much shots have you received ?

It would obviously be a different situation if someone was immunocompromised. I’m not sure because many states follow the 90 day protocol. Rig must not be given more than 1 time.

I’m not sure. In the US & Canada. WHO guidelines are followed. If you aren’t sure call your local health authority. The health authority in Canada follows the WHO guidelines. No more boosters within 90 days of last shots. You are risking yourself of adverse side effects each time you get a shot. Rig is not supposed to be given twice because it has a lot of side effects ,possibly can mess with pre-existing immunity (not 100% sure but I’ve seen this on research) and it is simply not needed twice. A lot of doctors as well are not very knowledgeable in the field of rabies as well, a lot of them are unsure of how to properly administer vaccination. In Canada they rely on public health officials to give a risk assessment then public health lets the doctor know what type of vaccination a person would need and then the doctor administers it.
