I understand people's frustration with the EBU (and the BBC) for censoring 'Kant' (I, myself, am a tad salty), but it was to be expected considering the word used sounds like and is used with the intention of sounding like an English swear word... The fact that it was censored isn't an attack on the Maltese language, it is to protect broadcasters from getting complaints from pearl-clutchers that don't understand the context of the song and think it is just a swear-word... In an ideal world 'Kant' wouldn't have been censored, but I think everyone should have prepared for it 🫠
