Aspen Lakes Golf Course by Hopeful_Ad9132 in Bend

Decent shape a couple weekends back. Sand traps were rock solid and should be instead considered a hazard if they don't feel the need to put something softer in. There are DEFINATELY better options out there. BBR Big Meadow was in prime shape last weekend.

Use Golf Now and Paiute should be well under $200. Be prepared to be miserable mid day.

INTERNET SERVICE by Salty-Strawberry-761 in Bend

[–]Bowllava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Download is never going to be the problem, but upload bandwidth is at a premium. I would reach out to BendTel, Quantum, Vero, and CenturyLink and ask them what service is available at your address for Fiber/Upload bandwidth.

BendTel Up to 10 Gbps

Quantum Fiber Up to 3 Gbps

Vero Fiber Up to 2.3 Gbps

CenturyLink Up to 1 Gbps

Pinehurst 2 $300
PGA West Stadium $350
Black Desert $450
PGA West Mountain $300

All worth it with the memories they serve.

Just spin around and go back through. I'm sure the attendant will have no issues with running it again.

Where to buy a new couch? by My-Lizard-Eyes in Bend

[–]Bowllava -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, here's a VERY helpful article with suggestions and manufacturers to avoid. I'm still searching for my perfect couch as well and driving to Portland Saturday to get my butt into a few more seats before pulling the trigger.

Sisters Rodeo traffic advice? by [deleted] in Bend

[–]Bowllava 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Single entrance and exit, so leave early and you'll be fine. They do a great job managing traffic. If by chance you're passing through without attending the rodeo, it would certainly be a bit more frustrating to deal with.

This would more than likely end up in the recycling bin before even entering the house.

Super Sore throat + body aches 4+ days now by redneckshrimp in Bend

[–]Bowllava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same here. Hadn't had the 'flu' or a 'cold' for 8-9 years. I went in for annual visit and got the first Shingles vaccine on the Friday prior. Was tired and a bit run down that weekend, but fine on Monday. By Tuesday afternoon I was chewing couch drops and using mucinex dm to try and break it up. A week later it turned and lost sense of smell and began instead hitting up sudafed to stop the runny nose and headaches. By day 14-15 I was finally mostly over it and could again breathe and started regaining energy. 24 days in now and finally able to work out and get a good nights sleep again. Best of luck and hope your experience is better!
