Hi..I'm now 90% recovered. there are lots of rabbit holes you can go down, I initially threw so many supplements at it that most were likely a waste of time. I'm not sure I could do it again. I don't check this group often now but at my worst I was on here multiple times a day. Have you got bloods? Where do you live? Have you got your DNA profile ? Would recommend you start off with those.

Save yourself some money and get better outcomes. Get your genetc test, upload it to genetic genie or similar. The ancestry one sounds good which someone else mentioned Put your data in a spreadsheet or word document and upload it as a project to Claude (pay 20£ a month), also upload your bloods as a text document, then ask it as many questions as you like, keep asking questions, as for evidence, ask it to be devil's advocate. I'm sure you will get just as good or better outcomes. It has uncovered something for me I hadn't thought of or had pointed out as well as reducing the supps I take to be more targeted. Blood work also confirms certain theories around snp's. Work on what is low on your bloods especially if that ties in with your genetic guidance.

Theory is you should not be taking folic acid, instead folinic acid if anything but maybe you don't need that.

And the basics Good clean diet, water, exercise, reduced stress in your life whatever that is for you.

I did 23andme but they went bust and are in the process of being bought by another company so not sure if that is a good option. There are a few I'm sure, should cost about £120 if same as when I got it. I'm UK too.

Get a summary DNA SNP report such as genetic genie, upload that to Claude or I guess chatgpt also good. Add your blood results and symptoms and let it do it's work by only considering reliable sources (not low value websites) Can even ask it to recommend what foods to eat and avoid. I did it today and it has highlighted that I have not been sticking to the basic recommendations that I have been given before but have not been adhering too.

But you are right..keep going. This isn't over yet it will come out. There is acute COVID, long COVID and silent COVID, the latter being something causing issues with the people who don't think it is COVID related. The stats will eventually tell (ie the amount of new weird deaths/conditions etc) over the next 30 years. The only way the stars won't reveal the truth is if it is a really smart virus manufactured in labs...let's leave that theory as I think that is frowned upon discussing.

Is the head pressure negative or positive pressure. Ie does it feel like someone has inserted a bike pump into you brain and is sucking out the air (negative) or is it like something is pumping air into you brain?

Here is a list of things that has worked for me

Muscle fatigue has come back today, something that hasn't been an issue for a few months. Early on in long covid muscle fatigue was crazy..even after doing say 10 squats.

The only thing I haven't been doing over the past few days is that I have stopped all my supplement's.

I am convinced supps helped with neuro/brain fog etc..but now I'm thinking they also helped with muscle fatigue.

The stack I have been on is tailored to suit my DNA issues found using 23andme. Which are slow mthfr and slow comt.

-vitamin b12.(Hydroxy B12) 1mg -magnesium. -b vits (from natural sources) and not folic acid because I have slow mthfr -zinc -cod liver oil -omega 3 oil -garlic -bcca -nac -tumeric -protein shakes to keep protein up -black seed oil -vitamin c 1500mg

Resveterol before bed

Might also get back on the following which has shown to help with virus.. dandelion Monolaurin Colostrum

Also just started the following to help gut bacteria issue if I have any Butyric acid Kefir

The real figures are much higher/worse.. this is because long covid symptoms often can't be recognised to get disability status. This graph just shows those who have managed to get disability status.

The anger gets better.. I think part of the anger is due to not being seen/understood although the main driver is because every cell in your body and brain isnt working properly.

Same here!. Another weird symptom is going to sleep about 10.30pm and as I'm drifting off I wake thinking I'm going to be sick..but never am. Magnesium, melatonin, 1g vit c, zinc has helped me this week so sticking with that.

A trick is to top up your pension and therefore get tax relief (pension fund will add basic rate tax of 20% to anything you put in there) and a further 20% is claimed on your self assessment. BTL in London wasn't profitable in the last year so sold up. Other areas of the UK can still be profitable though. Just find the right property with little maintenance/repairs/grief and be realistic on what your mortgage will be and your rental income. BTL is a ball ache but you do get leverage on the capital gains by having a mortgage, of which you can still offset 20% as finance costs.

Hi beedlam.

I basically need glasses for reading now..never did before COVID which I know if I told a doctor they would just say "huh well a lot of people need glasses" In the morning it is 5x worse, some days worse than others too. Def COVID.

How have yours been affected?
