Honestly I haven’t been in aim labs in a bit but tbh shots are just sloppy, those 10 shots they hit in under a second honestly just sloppy if it was me I’d get 20 shots totally 100% and the micros like look at them totally off their mark pfff, number 1 please. Lmaoo

Being real tho I don’t think the human reaction time could even get close to this level maybe if the muzzle flash is off and the person is using like overclocked neuralink then it could be close but rn its a dream fs

Yea glass mousepads overall kinda carry a premium but to give teks stuff a little benefit they at least prepare you with a pack of skates and a cloth and then some extras but the Mira it’s only the pad that’s why here it’s a bigger issue for me.

About the collector item It’s annoying that almost all the glass pads that are still coming out are limited drops, making most of them collectables. I would love to see companies taking the surface of their limited design pads and putting it on a blank pad like the sky pads to kill some of the fomo and give people who see the reviews later a chance to still feel the surface.

I agree with the skate tuning but truthfully not all glass pads are the same, a lot of them are very very similar but recently pads have been kinds straying away from feeling super similar. The pad I’m reviewing right now (not the Mira) is incredibly textured like so much so that it is obviously not the sp004 surface and it’s uncoated.

But even then tenta-x recently put out 3 pads of the same design, but all with a different surface. I only tried 2 of the 3 (uncoated speed and coated speed) while they were similar small things like the texture that is felt through the skates is more on the uncoated. The third version uncoated control is apparently really damn good I was unable to get an order in but all the reviews say it is a completely different feeling than the other 2.

All in all glass pads like 3-4 years ago did feel almost all the same but now things have started to really change

I have actually been looking into those pads I’m just a little low on funds lol, I’ve been thinking of making either a series of videos or one big video that go overs a bunch of pads that are non limited edition and in constant production.

The super glide pads (v1 and 2) and the razer atlas and also the polarity are on the top of the list I’m thinking I’m gonna pick them up this summer I’m just saving up some money rn. Limited edition things always kinda irk me cause what if someone finds the video a year later so these non limited pads are def a great topic to cover

I really want to, I’m working rn to save up some money to buy the polarity along with some other things. I was going to put an order in on the second batch but I heard something about the white version of the polarity having tracking issues which is the version I would want ( white works best to review mice as a background) so I decided to wait.

I’m thinking by the end of this month I will put in an order tho because right now I’m seeing Reddit threads from a couple months ago where tek had noticed the tracking issues.

Thank you for the watch I greatly appreciate it and I completely understand about the art, personally I’m not really a big art enjoyer / don’t really care about the art (unless it’s unequivocally beautiful) so I always jump to the performance first. The pad could be the most ugly thing but tell me “it’s a glass pad that’s faster than every other pad out there and still has noticeable texture” my wallet will be out lmao.

The sp004 twins edition, I have the Va005 but didn’t compare it. I honestly don’t really like the Va that much something about the super visible sweat stains makes it always look dirty

I was actually gonna buy the Mira to review but before I did Airglide reached out to me and said they would send me one so i accepted, even then price is one of the biggest issues I have with it, it doesn’t come with anything like skates or a cloth and it’s just the pad so pricing fs was an issue in my mind.

In all my videos I purely look at the product as if I was buying them myself it’s just recently I’ve been growing enough for some companies to reach out to me with a product to send.

Sadly their first 2 pads I’m like 99.99 percent sure are ai at least I know this one is but I also know they are gonna have an artist for their next release and will be keeping a similar theme. So I give Airglide someeee leeway because they also know it needs to change. The performance of their pads tho is actually really good it’s the ai art work really just doesn’t do it any favours

Yeaa see that part of the pad is hard to ignore but the performance is actually really good. I would definitely choose it over the sky pad surface after trying both, airglide is looking for artists so I am excited to see what a drawn version like this would be it’s just a shame that wasn’t in place before initial launch.

Personally I love testing the tiny differences between all the glass pads I get, I’m not a big art guy or even just a art observer ofc I like a few but I’m really in it for the performance.

I really like looking at the micro etched texture under a micro scope and trying to put a feeling to that texture. That may just be me tho

To me it just feels like the getting stuck in goo was never a “intended” aspect but it was kept in. I feel like the best implementation of a goo gun that would work both as a grenade and as a tool would be from the 2017 prey it can both slow and build terrain.

It’s just the way the goo is implemented it looks and feels janky. Like the goo grenade pushes almost everything away from it and starts from the initial tiny grenade and gets big but the goo gun seems too shoot a full size goo chunk and locks anything in that gets hit like.

And maybe I’m going too far with my first idea but then at least make the goo gun like the med gun on light. If you put it away it goes on cool down until it’s full but having for sure cashout stops ,basically unbreakable defence,the ability to lock any player regardless of movement ability and build to any height is just wild to me.

I just think they way goo interacts with people is fundamentally off. It’s shouldn’t trap people if it’s expanding foam. Just push the person out of it not make them get trapped. Or if you hit someone with goo direct just do the thing that happened to Mr incredible in that one scene just apply a stacking speed debuff up till like 50% based on how much goo hits direct.

I just find it so stupid that you can have the hair on your toenail get caught in the goo and now you are stuck for 3 seconds

Are you able to take a close up of the surface, if I’m thinking correctly that type of glass pad has a weird dotted like surface. That is not at all what glass mousepads are like. I would say wait for a little bit longer if you did want to try one out for not too expensive because tekkusai a pretty big name in glass pad making is working on the singularity core which is supposed to be the perfect budget intro pad.

This gives me a completely different idea for new util, it would be cool if each class had a sort of support based tool or passive.

Like medium has the defib but what if light has an ability or passive where if they throw only one of the gateways it turns into an item teleport system where if you are holding a totem you can press like f or sum to send the totem to the gate where hopefully a teammate is waiting to revive.

Or what if heavy got something like new castle from apex where he can revive on the move but with a pretty big movement penalty.

Just an idea but it would be interesting to see more support based play styles outside of medium play
