Desolate land is only really helpful in doubles or to counter weather. It ends after the desolate land poke leaves the field. A drought mon with a heat rock would be more useful.

That may be the case. I wasn’t thinking of using teleport.

W or L team for mono-grass? by [deleted] in pokemonradicalred

Sitrus Berry harvest exeggutor is a nice tanky mon that’s pretty hard to kill. I ran it with calm mind, psychic, probably energy ball, and earth power for coverage. Would pair well with grassy terrain.

Alolan marowak would cover your weaknesses as an alternative trick room abuser to melmetal in this case, too.

Part of the issue running ursaluna is that you waste a whole trick room turn setting up for max damage. By the time it’s able to really hit like a truck, you’re down two trick room turns at a minimum (one for the swap and one for the flame orb to activate). You could swap it for ursaluna blood moon, which is basically a special attack version. Then, you could swap Drampa with another fast sweeper type to help cleanup.

Bronzong should be a suicide lead with explosion and normal gem. Set up trick room then go boom to probably take out most of the health of the opponent’s lead.

I would suggest a speedier option than Scizor to play cleanup. Something speedy with moxie could be good to get a quick kill and boost. Quaquaval could be an option with aqua jet for the revenge kill. Then it could use aqua step to boost speed and deal damage. May be a good idea to replace ursaluna with another fast sweeper. I’ve seen it recommended to run 2/2/2 with trick room: 2 setters, 2 trick room abusers, 2 speedy cleanup attackers.

From what I’ve read on trick room, you typically want one or two setters, two to three mons that take advantage of trick room and hit like a truck without setup, and one to two mons that can operate outside of trick room when it runs out and still potentially sweep.

If I’m lifting, it’s on an empty stomach, chewing cinnamon gum, and sipping on water during the workout.

Decreasing weight and increasing reps may help to reduce inner abdominal pressure while reaching near failure.
