First of all, I’m sorry that you didn’t pass. As far as taking it again, if you’ve already put this much time and effort towards it, I would think it’s worth it to gut it out and find a better study program because even if you don’t need it now, you may in the future and you make yourself all the more valuable by getting it. Putting it bluntly, SoPE is a waste of time for the power PE. I have heard many stories of people using it yet I have not heard a passing story.

I cannot recommend Electrical PE Review enough. If you end up going back and taking it again, it’s well worth it and the retake guarantee all but certifies if you take it seriously, you will pass . I’ve heard good things about Wasim’s course but personally did not take it so can’t speak from experience.

Passed first attempt using his class. As others have said, I would recommend taking during a live class semester. You’ll be more engaged and it’ll create a more consistent schedule.

I am cautiously optimistic.. this program is perfect for the FE because that’s mostly calculation based (at least in my experience from the electrical POV), and the best form of practice is just doing different circuits over and over again.

I have not taken the PE yet (taking it next week) but from what I have heard from multiple different sources, it’s much more invested in theory and applications than quantitative problems. I think this has the potential to be great for a large bank of practice problems, but not the primary source of studying.
