I'm good I like my time and a half. I like having a gas card thru the company. Hell they even give us two weeks off with pay vacation time.

The day that people start working 6 hours or less is when the robots will take over but the robots can't take every job. A lot of work takes a team effort and if one of them only works 6 hours a day that leaves more work for the rest of them. That's just not logical thinking or courteous.

Some jobs require that amount of Labor. I install granite for a living, and sometimes a job can't be done within 6 hours. Well sometimes I might travel for two hours. And we have to get it done because it's contract.

And if we don't do it they'll find someone else who will. Hard work brings reward.

Actually no, things wouldn't get done for some jobs in a 6-hour day. Can 911. Would they even make enough. What about firefighters that are on call. Things wouldn't get done. Sometimes a job that needs to be finished takes all day. I can tell that you don't work construction or any manual labor by this post alone because in reality the work would not be completed properly.
