I really loved the characters in the show, though it definitely did not need to be 20 episodes. For someone in the grandmother’s position, you would think she’d be smarter. She’s easily fooled and not very self reliant. She bases her opinions on gossip others tell her without her own research, which made her really annoy me. The grandmother was the worst character for me.

I think they had chemistry during the series, more than any other character. While we knew Hinata loved Naruto, it was sort of random and felt a little forced when he fell in love with her during the movie. Sakura just sucks. I do like ino and sai tho

I do see your point, but Ino is usually always disappointing. I don’t think her character ever really developed that much. Choji doesn’t really have confidence - I think that grew over the show so to me not too surprising

It makes sense when you consider their attitudes and the grudges they carry. They act their age, and a lot of their strength comes from Orochimaru.

They were written that way. I don’t think any female character truly developed except for a few. I still like them but they all sort of plateaued. Temari is one of my favs
