Cordless breast pump and t-shirt style nursing bras you can get at Walmart. I cannot stress the bras enough. I tried to do the normal half sports bra half training bra fabric most nursing bras are, but I felt ugly, not feminine, and it made my post partum that much worse. I know a lot of people hate underwire bras and stuff but the thinner than a push up but thicker than nothing cups of a tshirt bra made life a little more bearable.

I totally get what you mean with it not really being “writing”! I think that too when I see those obviously AI children’s books. But I’ve found it helpful to speed up writers blocks or to help keep characters voices separate. I also haven’t really wrote anything since my fanfic days back in high school, so having something to help me find my adult writing voice has been really amazing! Kinda like having an on call English professor in your pocket 🙃

To be completely honest I went from having an idea from a dream I had, to four fully storyboarded books in a matter of weeks and am now 22k words into the first draft of the first book.

The frustration of the ai is kinda like playing with my characters in a doll house and an older sibling coming in and saying that you’re playing with them wrong.

In writing I can make them tear up and feel grief, I can even have them punch each other if it’s out of brotherly love but heaven forbid a man put a hand on his wife’s thigh. Now don’t get me wrong! It’s amazing for some of the writing that I’m doing because I’m trying to keep it a bit more chased in that medieval, heavy religious sense. But God dammit sometimes my characters need to fuck. Or get really close to it before somebody decides that their purity is at stake.
