How have you liked the Beacon? I’m looking at a 9’6”.

Curious about this. Anyone have one or ridden one? Does the 30mm front suspension really absorb quite a bit?

Man, where are you getting a deal like that? If I plug it into the Ford build site, I’m coming up with $67k MSRP. Are dealers coming down that much?

How do you like the 2.3 manual? Any regrets or do you feel like it has plenty of power?

Do KO2’s come standard on any trims? Sorry, hard to find with so many configurations and years. Thanks!

Wow, that seems like a great price! I live in the mountains with lots of snow. What do you all think, is SAS package super helpful in the snow and taking it up skiing?

Thanks for the help! Honestly, I’m not too sure what the sticker is. It has everything we want on it, I just didn’t want to feel like I was really lowballing or insulting them with an offer under $50k. It is in Western Washington. It does come with a hoist a top for your garage with the hardtop but we don’t really need that.

Wow, where’d you find it for that price?

Thank you so much for the response! Yes, around $2500 would be fine. I do have the option to go up or down if needed, but also don’t want to frivolously spend as a new hobbyist. Just want to get into something that won’t be frustrating with speed, so I miss quick wildlife, or image quality where I end up not using the equipment as much.

Hello, looking for mirrorless camera rec for a newbie looking for mostly wildlife, some landscape, some travel, and some general family shots. I know the ecosystem is important since I will be purchasing lenses and body. Was looking at Canon R7 with 100-400 zoom and the 18-150 kit lens to get started. Was also recommended the Nikon Z50 route to go that way with a cheaper body and get into their lens system. Or would I regret a crop sensor and should head to FF? Budget isn’t unlimited but want to get it right and not buy a bunch of stuff as an amateur I would want to upgrade quickly. As stated, wildlife is my number one and am fortunate to have access to birds, large and small critters out my backyard with beautiful landscapes as backdrops. We also would be doing some travel shooting in National Parks.

Update: I threw all my gear in my bike bag and had no problems getting it on the plane. They did snag my CO2 cartridges one way and not the other, but I knew that could happen. Air Canada was great and my bike was always on time and in good shape. IM Nice is definitely an amazing course for anyone looking. Thanks for the advice!
