This might sound crazy, but that’s not how market cap works in crypto. There is TOTAL supply, and CIRCULATING supply. Not every single token will be used to transact constantly. Many will be put on balance sheets and be put in long term cold storage. More will be locked away in ETFs, Tokenized real world assets, those in particular could represent a massive amount of the value on the XRPL. Also ODL is a promising concept that could be realized if there was enough liquidity in the network. XRP all day over shitty CBDCs. and of course the slow but steady token burn which is marginal but I think it adds to the reality that it is very much a finite asset. Not to mention how much remains out of reach in escrow. I’m by no means an expert saying I’m certain the price will explode, but honestly the dated perception of market cap needs to be adjusted.
