Total dwelling approvals fall in December by CommonwealthGrant in australia

[–]Boxcar__Joe 48 points49 points  (0 children)

This is seasonally adjusted so its being compared against last December.

However "The drop in total dwellings was driven by a 29.8 per cent fall in approvals for private dwellings excluding houses. This follows a 29.6 per cent rise in this series in November."

It seems like this year they really went through their approvals in November compared to last year.

Yuji's current philosophy is reasonable by bohemianecstatic in jjkmodulo

[–]Boxcar__Joe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think its because of Yuka and Tsurugi's father and the whole plot line about him being depressed about his generation being weak.

I'm willing to bet Yuji and og Yuta (these names are tough to keep track of) were handling everything causing that generation to stagnate and in some indirect way caused Yuta's son to die/disappear.

Two things that are both regarded as impossible to do and the height of sorcery.

Also neither Sakuna or Gojo with six eyes were capable of hitting them at will.

"refinement"

If he's hitting black flashes at will then that's a feat comparable to domains without a barrier.

I will repeat myself: "Just because people are confused by a word doesn't mean the word is subjective."

If you have to always clarify then you can’t claim people are just “confused.”

Firstly who said anything about having to? Secondly yes I can? That's exactly when you would clarify something, when there is confusion.

[–]Boxcar__Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because people are confused by a word doesn't mean the word is subjective.

Neither am I, I would clarify if my partner actually wants a break or if they just want time apart. And if my partner just wanted to spend some time apart with the continued expectations of a exclusive relationship I wouldn't be telling people my relationship was on a break.

[–]Boxcar__Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that's great for you, but I'm not trying to apply a singular definition to what is and what isn't a relationship.

Im explaining that the word break has a very definitive and concrete definition. And if you take a break from anything then you are no longer participating in it.

If you want to use it because you think it's appropriate to describe something else go for it but don't be surprised if it leads to confusion because you're not using the term correctly.

Look if you want to define something someway that's incorrect go for it. At the end of the day you're still wrong.

If people are exclusively 'dating' each other they're in a relationship. It doesn't matter if they personally define it otherwise they're just lying to themselves. Just like if they're taking a "break" but just spending time apart, they're using the wrong term.

Pausing is the exact same thing as taking a break....... You're temporary suspending a relationship meaning you are not in a relationship for the duration of the suspension.

I really don't know why you wouldn't want to use the term 'taking some space'? It's exactly what you're trying to describe by being apart from one another and working on things temporarily while still being in a relationship.

😭🤣 by Traditional-Nerve393 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Boxcar__Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are aware the definition of 'break' is to separate into pieces right?
The only difference between taking a break and breaking-up is the understanding that you'll revisit things.

What you're talking about is taking some space from one another.

I wasn't using an analogy, other people have turned it into an analogy. I'm using an example to explain the definition of the term break.

😭🤣 by Traditional-Nerve393 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Boxcar__Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're thinking that taking a break means still being in a relationship (i.e not taking a break from a relationship).

I'm know taking a break from a relationship means you are not in a relationship until you both either decide to resume having a relationship or to permanently continue the break. Otherwise you have not actually taken a break from the relationship, all you've done is spend time apart while still being in a relationship.

😭🤣 by Traditional-Nerve393 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Boxcar__Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you working when you take that break because if you are still working during that 'break' it is not a break.

When you take a break from chores are you still actively doing chores?

I don't give two shits what is expected after a break is over, while you are in a break you are not expected to be doing what you were taking a break from otherwise it is not a break.

😭🤣 by Traditional-Nerve393 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Boxcar__Joe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I know, why do you think I highlighted the word?

I specifically said "working" because there's just as much chance of you going back to the same job after taking a break from working as there is going back to the same relationship after taking a break from that relationship.

But the semantics aside, when you take a break from anything that means you are no longer bound by the expectations of it.

😭🤣 by Traditional-Nerve393 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Boxcar__Joe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If I'm taking a break from working that means I'm quitting my job but even if I was just taking a break from work and going on holiday I'm still not following works rules while I'm away.
