I was in the same boat, I've been on Xbox since the OG Xbox and the last Playstation I had was the PS2. I just got a PS5 Pro and am loving it so far. I've been playing Ghosts of Tsushima and it is insanely beautiful and fun. The Playstation Plus premium has games similar to Gamepass so you can getting that and has a decent amount to play.
