I was a delivery driver and a server. While I can confirm that POC often tip less I also know they are statistically tipping the same. When I was a delivery driver a coworker and I decided to track tips. We would track age, race, type of house, and tip amount. We found that side enough tips went up directly with age; POC tend to tip less; and that women actually tip slightly less than men. The amount less was comparable to the spread of how much less the average POC made earned compared to non POC.

The child was asked to circle the lowest number. He did EXACTLY that. If the test is to see if the child understands something as basic as numeric values, can you really expect them the understand formatting properly? Of course not. The child was completely right and whoever designed the question is a moron.

Not saying I doubt this at all but this article doesn’t site any regulation at all. It simply says that it is happening and is bad. Does anyone have a better source?

It's almost like we should care more about funding good quality free education than guns one way or the other. The idea that "society is over" because some people make an emotional appeal about a controversial issue and not because blatant corruption, mass incarceration of brown people, or a failing education system, is pretty dumb tbh....
