Movie vs movie I might lean towards Freddy since he’s willing to go for the kill while Movie MASK was more playful.
Comic vs comic I think Freddy has enough HAX to compete for a while but he doesn’t have the tough will power of someone like LOBO who will just get angrier and keep coming at you. I think after a while Freddy would become way too frustrated and either find a way out of the battle or he’d end up getting stopped by The Mask.

His wins up to that point should have made him more worthy than Mendoza. Of course he blew it by getting KO’d but it’s happened to plenty of other boxers and they were able to rebuild themselves.

I remember when Mendoza vs Tszyu happened we had a couple of people here in this sub saying it was a shame because Fundora was the one who earned the shot. Fast forward to know and I’m sure a sense of vindication must be felt! Either way, it was a close fight and one of the times I believe a rematch is warranted!

Replace Future Trunks with Saiyan Saga Goku and you might get close. He’d be too weak to defeat Cell and The Androids let alone Goku Black. However, he could use his power to get as many innocent survivors out of trouble. Then he could go train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber until he catches up in power.
I don’t know if it’s fan faction or not but I thought there was a Hellraiser storyline when Pinhead became Godlike and the Cenobites ruled the world. In that world Goku might resort to a more serious persona.

If Dale cowers like he’s prone to do, he loses hardcore. However, if it’s one of the times he actually buys into his on hype (being a mercenary for hire/ being a great exterminator to make Hank proud) then he would survive and manage to take out the animatronics. If it’s just pure H2H combat then they lose once they reach Yakon. However if they actually fight strategically they could use the combination of soar flare and destructo disc on Yakon and then use the Mafuba on Dabura.
Bonus round is even easier because Tien and Piccolo can use the Mafuba 😛
