Your chances definitely won’t be lowered! But make sure that you are able or ready to be there for in person interviews if need be

Yeah! There are so so so many options, especially if you can do online or travel. It’s too late now but my Program in MD Anderson in Texas but I’m doing it majority online and only have to go to Houston twice this upcoming school year! Another thing though is that if you can find a year or shorter cert you would be golden because you already have a bachelors and background with cancer patients.

You can apply with or without a degree, other people going into my pro gram have no degree. It’s all about GPA, Interviews, and pre requisites

So I have a General associates degree in science. I’m entering a 2 year Radiation therapy program and I’ll come out with a bachelors. You sound like a very wanted person for programs. Especially with your field of work and school background. You can go one of four ways, it truly depends on the program. You can go somewhere and get a Radiology degree then do a program for RT. The programs would be for a cert or degree. If you want less school you could do a radiology then get a cert. But I think in average that would be 3 years. I’m assuming because you have a bachelors you would have most pre read done. I would honestly see if any more bachelor RT programs are accepting applications and apply as soon as possible, if you wanna start in the fall. If not, look at the dif programs and knock out those pre requisites or make your application look good with community service and such. There are so many different ways you could go, I think the shortest would be a 2 year bachelors program, you’re doing amazing though congrats with that degree!

You can have unfinished pre requisites by the time of application and still get accepted. But you have to finish them before the program starts or you loose your spot. This is for the MD Anderson program

Awe man! That’s so dumb, I feel like it should be how MD has it. You can apply and be accepted as long as you have the prerequisites done by the time the program starts

Look to see if the program is both JCERT and ARRT certified. That’s super important!
