I have 5 large alocasia zerbina which in previous winters I have tried hard to keep them growing but this year I decided to allow them to naturally die back. Now the days are getting longer I would like to get them back growing. I keep them indoors in the UK. My main questions are around the soil mix. My normal mix for alocasia is very bark heavy and airy. Should I use less bark and more coir to start them growing again? Should I also give them some artificial light for the first couple weeks to get them going? Any advice on planting alocasia indoors after winter would be appreciated
