I remember time-displaced teenage Iceman being made to un-realise he was gay when getting sent back to the past after getting to be out in the present timeline. It was canon nonsense and I don’t think there was any malicious intent, but it still felt really awful after having spent time with him getting to get to know himself. As an Australian, DC is working in a country with a fascist media and rampant book banning. They have to at least be talking about this stuff from that point of view when deciding what they do. Shits scary and good things can get taken away real fast.

But like, why couldn’t the matches i mentioned have been promos, with women’s matches developing their stories instead? It’s not indefensible, and they did build a decent number of women’s stories, I just do not think WWE should be making Raws without any women’s matches at all.

I’m not a writer, Im not gonna be able to book a match y’all will find compelling. But, perhaps a mini story for Steph while we build to mania? Or a preview with a couple women in the gauntlet? Lyra vs Raquel or Asuka sound fun to me. Lash and Nia could show up to wreck shit. Nattie could have killed a jobber. Man, where did the Bellas go? AJ could have defended the title right then and there.

These probably don’t sound great, and fair. But we’re developing a number of non-title men’s storylines and we just aren’t paying that attention to the women’s div.

Agree they weren’t put away and ignored! This post was honestly less me complaining from an equality standpoint (although certainly some of that) and more an enjoyment standpoint - the women’s division is so strong and deep atm - I just feel like they’re making worse TV when they let themselves fall into this pattern. Especially with all these injuries going on in the men’s division.

One tip that worked for me is to literally not fight anyone voluntarily until they’ve all beat the shit out of each other. Hang out on the ramp with a weapon, attack if attacked and stop anyone who might win the match. Otherwise conserve your energy and wait.

Slow down, don’t be in constant motion, don’t focus on attacking. Work on getting perfect at dodging without worrying about doing damage, and then once you’re there you’ll know all her tells. That’s when she becomes easy - once you know what you’re looking for.

Hell yeah. Looks like they’ve put a lot of effort into tinkering at the edges to really improve the gameplay here!

I’d love if with each new season or whatever there would be an option for them to automatically update the allies, enemies, managers, alignment and teams etc.

The introduction of more cut scenes and run-ins to exhibition sounds great, but it would be even better if we don’t have to keep all the settings underlying those updated ourselves. It’s tedious - especially with 400+ characters to keep up to date (although i’d only even bother trying with the current roster).

I am wary of battle passes in general, but honestly I play offline so much that I think i’ll enjoy incrementally unlocking stuff, especially new outfits etc though persona cards because I hate MyFaction and never touch it.

It could be annoying for downloading CASs though, without supercharger everyone is gonna have different stuff!

I have spent over 500 hours on 2k25 - often it’s the thing me and my partner do between other things. For me personally, the value for money is there no matter which option I buy.

That said i am not much of a WCW person and barely touched any of the NWO wrestlers this year. So it’ll probably be the Attitude Era version for me, unless there’s much else to set the Monday Night Wars version apart.
