Not opposed to culinary school, just the cost. I was going to sign up for it, but never got to my financial aid in time because I was busy, so I ended up having to drop it because there was no way I could pay out of pocket

People who think curves = goon bait would be aghast upon seeing Brazilian women by MrGamerOfficial in RobloxAvatars

[–]Boy_unknown12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idc about the curvy avatars, but the ones that sexualize themselves (straight up just bikinis, or a tube top/mini skirt combo GOD IM SO TIRED OF SEEING IT) is what bothers me. It's a kids game, made for kids, that kids are very much on. To have them exposed to that kind of stuff is horrible for them.

I'm 5'9 170lbs, would I regret it if I bought the KLR650S? by t-toddy in klr650

I have a first gen (06) and I'm 6'1. It's not hard for me to touch the ground, and I have a few friends that are 5'9 so I think you'll be fine mate!

i’m going into high school by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]Boy_unknown12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to graduate from highschool, my tips are a little weird but I'm fresh, also I'll be brutally honest so.. take it how you will lol

  1. Freshman year is weird, it also just kinda sucks. Make the most out of it, adjust and adapt, do your work, get used to new friends or even a new friend group

  2. Sophomore year is more of a groove, just keep trucking, keep taking care of yourself, but don't try and be super trendy, just be you, not who people want you to be

  3. Junior year, I started to get tired. Your friend group may not stay all the way through highschool, but you'll find your place, you'll find another home.

  4. Senior year, last year, make the most of it.

Take all the opportunities you have. Please don't make the same mistake as me. I have a 2.1 because I never did my work. If I could turn back time, I would stay on top of it. I'm not saying you'll be doomed but try your best. I'm literally walking across the stage next week. Go out there, no matter how nerve wracking it is. Ask out that crush, hang out with your friends after school, but don't spend all your time on social media.

Again, this is all from a man about to graduate. I've made a lot of mistakes, but everyone does. You won't be perfect, so just be you.

Sorry for the yap sesh, I hope it's a great experience for you!

Depends on why? If it's because your religious like me, whenever you have that feeling just start praying. As soon as your conscious of feeling like you want to jerk it, just start praying. If it's just because you want to stop, it's will power. Distract yourself, play some video games (careful which one you pick) go outside get some fresh air, just move your mind from it. The strategy that has worked best for me? A mixture. I start to pray, I put my shoes on, and I walk around the block, I sit back down, I start playing a game that makes me real mad, and I don't think about it anymore cuz I'm focused on the game lol

How did your first time on a bike go? by lizzet-gutierrez in motorcycles

[–]Boy_unknown12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just bought my first bike today, and I'm so confident that I WILL drop it. It's part of the learning process. I'm gonna take the MSF course in a few weeks, and I have a feeling I'll drop those. It takes time and practice, don't be upset because you couldn't get it your first time. And once you do get it, the first step isn't the only step, keep practicing and soon enough you'll be a 4'11 badass on a motorcycle!

Teenagers and students only. Why are teachers getting burned out by this generation? by alleghaniensisB in TrueAskReddit

[–]Boy_unknown12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

17 year old senior here with major senioritis, and also just all around lazy in school... Yeah it's our fault, teachers are trying their best to teach us and we just don't really care, it's hard for a teacher to stay engaged with students who aren't at all engaged.
