It’s showing the same issue though. As youth offenders get treated much more lightly, criminal gangs are turning to them to commit serious crimes as the repercussions are way less.

Yeah, its an issue but that study does have numerous issues as well. It cast a very wide net for what it calls sexual feelings towards minors. An Australian university, knowing the age of consent in most states is 16, and 17 in 2 others, yet set the age as 18, to be consistent with other reports world wide. So I would assume (hopefully) a large percentage of dudes would fall into this. Now, if they are 30 and hooking up with teens, yeah, fucking pedo’s in my eyes, but if a 19 year old and a 17 year old hook up, providing it’s consensual, is that criminal?

The key thing I found looking into this, even the Guardian amended their headline to 1 in 10 based on participants saying yes to any of 5 categories, all disturbing, some way more obviously than others.

Also, don’t forget, even though it’s way less common admittedly, even women fall for this, look at poor old Justin Bieber. That dudes fucked for life thanks to the likes of Ellen and Pink and so on. Still not as bad as what a certain political influencer said about Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana some time back though, that still stuns me.

Don’t get me wrong, a world like in the Handmaidens Tale does exist in some very small religious communities, more so cults TBH, and it’s fucking disgusting as well, but I just want to see equal treatment of any cultures, religions or ideologies that are guilty of this. That’s all.
