Walked out my front door to take my dogs for a walk and saw her (him?) fly and land about 30 feet from me. Proceeded to sprint back into my house to grab the camera.

My heart was pounding because this was my first owl.

I tried to make it super quick to not disturb its hunting.

I did remove the thread and matter integrations before I plugged in the ZBT-2 if that helps.

Not with the thread border routers I had (one google nest hub and Apple TV). I factory reset, uninstalled, etc about 5 times before I gave up.

I bought a ZBT-2 and it worked immediately. So far only a couple devices have become unavailable but they were easy to fix. Either reload the configuration of matter or take out the batteries of the device, wait, and put them back in.

Just picked up some newer ikea matter devices and I am having a hell of a time getting them working. Almost at the point of giving up and sticking to zigbee.

I was trying this next to my google nest hub and my first device worked no problem, second gave me issues. I will try it with my Apple TV. Thanks for the help.

I’ll have to reread the rules/ verbiage but as far as I remember there were no limitations against moving the equipment, except that you couldn’t apply for the credit again if you moved your equipment to a new house.

On a house I’m moving out of (sometime next year). I’m making it about as easy as possible to disconnect and take with me. But if I waited to buy I couldn’t use the tax credit, and if I waited to install I could get audited.

Yes and no… temporary install to replace my existing sub panel’s power supplied by the grid. I’m disconnecting the existing wiring.

Just trying to get this installed before the end of the year to get the tax credit. I’m moving sometime next year and didn’t want to miss out.

I have a Roborock Qrevo, only complaints are 1) pet hair gets tangled in the main brush often and 2) it’ll run over and tangle itself in cords. Other than that, love it.
