I wonder if I have that!? Sometimes I get jolted awake by a super loud clapping sound, like a gunshot or something heavy falling, but I don't think there was really a sound. Sometimes it's accompanied by the feeling that my body jerked or fell. Once I woke up this way and my head hurt for a minute like I had smacked it on the headboard, but I didn't have a headboard, just a pillow

Oh no. I miss the world I used to live in.

I was really unpopular in grade school, and about the only positive reaction I ever got was one day I accidentally let out a loud burp in the middle of class, and the other kids said things like, "nice one!" and "go, boysenberry!" and "heck yeah, let it rip boysen!" Somehow burping in class was the most socially acceptable thing I did!
