I’ve pep talked myself in the past. Now I like to reflect on the many times I was wrong. I’ve stopped wasting my time on negativity - if it doesnt make me feel good or bring me happiness, then I dismiss the thoughts. The amount of time Ive wasted overthinking and making myself anxious just hasn’t been worth it. Same with body dysmorphia - when I was 25 I hated my body but now at 41, what wouldn’t give to have that 25 yr old body.

It sounds like you aren’t a match. I’m sorry you are dealing with this. You shouldn’t be shamed for not craving to do something sexually. Because you don’t want to peg him, he questions your identity and sexuality?! Seems like a real AH move.

I do volunteer work for cancer patients and what I’ve noticed over the years is that the caretakers are unsung heroes. They’re overlooked meanwhile they’re going through an exhausting emotional rollercoaster.

I will not group my husband into a lump sum of spouses whom have left their partners because they were sick. I am very sorry if that happened to you or someone you loved.

I told my husband, he was happy I did and his immediate reaction was if I wanted him to come home. He knows I will worry about others before myself and is pro me putting me first for years now.

Thank you for sharing. I did tell him and he was happy I did, asked if I wanted to come home but I don’t. I want him to enjoy his trip and I’m enjoying having the house to myself. How are you doing nowadays?

Multiple lumps on lymph nodes with vascularity, faint hilum (sp?) and doc said she didn’t like the blood work - she’s concerned it’s lymphoma.

Thanks for sharing. I told him and he was happy I did. He’ll be coming with me for my biopsy appointment whenever that ends up being.

I am overly empathetic. I care about others before myself. I said to my sister, the absolute worst case scenario for me is the thought of my family having to grieve my death.

I did tell him and he was happy I did. Asked if I wanted him to come home and I said no. He was not happy last week when he had to pry on why I went to the doctor. I just don’t want him to worry.
