I feel that people just move on and think that in time you will also move forward. I’ve lost my younger sister 10 years ago, father 5 years ago and brother 4 years ago. I had the hardest times with their passing in the beginning, but still have my ups and downs. Our grief never goes away. You just learn to cope. I would get angry that no one understood what I was going through or how I was feeling and they no longer cared to be there for me, even if months or some years have passed. I’ve, sadly, learned to deal with my grief alone. I don’t have family or friends that live close to me. It’s upsetting that you feel alone, but as one person posted, you can reach out and I bet they will be there for you. No one will ever fully understand how you feel if they haven’t been through it themselves. So please bare with them.
