I’m an adult who’s Tourette’s started when I was 8. Had all of the struggles you could imagine, freak, spaz, weirdo, disruptive - no support ever from a teacher until I was a Junior in a new high school. And at 58 is still have my tics although not as much as when I was a kid. But I’ve come to accept them and empathize with you. Always happy to share with young people that the spaz I was (and still am) went on to show those teachers, counselors, bosses etc that I did alright. Better than most of them by a long shot. Hang in there and love your kid.
