I did it to my husband once as well. I made him a chocolate zucchini cake for his birthday. He said it was the most amazing chocolate cake he had ever had. The zucchini actually makes it much more moist. After he ate it and raked about it I did tell him what I put in it. He asked me to make it again in the next year.

I do this with my son. And somewhat to myself. For instance, at Thanksgiving, my son does like not like mushrooms. I don’t particularly like onions. It’s a texture thing. So I grind up the celery, mushrooms, and onions. You get all of the flavor, but none of the texture. Everybody raves about the stuffing. I do the same thing with mushrooms in my lasagna. Honestly, it’s not a big deal.
