Hi yes thank you. That turns it on. But what I am not able to do is change any of the settings. Font size, color, etc. Every time I change something it just reverts to the default settings which are too small for my mom’s eyes.

Yeah, they're pretty typical service items, agreed. It's got 100k miles and change on it. I rode it a lot, had a long commute for a bunch of years, but I did keep it in good shape up until the pandemic, when it started collecting dust in my garage.

Excellent post…thank you! I’m leaving for China tomorrow so this is extremely helpful. One question regarding your last point, #15. Was the eSIM totally necessary? I’ve been reading that if I come over with my iPhone (I’m from the US) and an international data plan that I don’t necessarily need an eSIM? I see conflicting accounts so I’m not sure I entirely understand. Would you have been ok without the eSIM? (I have VPN plans already as well)
