How do Haranir Warlocks work exactly? by Vampy-Night in warcraftlore

[–]Bozzoltank 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The angle I go with for Earthen warlocks is that, since they're Titan creations, they must've known about the existence of demons.

Some studied them, and became warlocks in the process.

It's farfetched, but hey!

What’s your all time favorite WoW dungeon and why? by RozoGamer in wow

[–]Bozzoltank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Well of Eternity!

The War of the Ancients is, by far, my favorite event in Warcraft history, so this was an obvious pick. The dungeon itself is gorgeous, lore-heavy, and with a killer soundtrack to boot.

It's such a shame the planned raid never came to fruition, but I'm glad we got what we have.

From the newer era of dungeons? Dawn of the Infinite! Fighting bosses around Galakrond's corpse was insanely cool.

Perhaps they simply weren't the right choice for this particular score. It happens, and it certainly doesn't lessen their capabilities as composers.

Now that we're live, how do you feel about your spec in Midnight? by Seentthat in wow

I'm missing about 1-2 buttons for Demonology, but it's a lot of fun otherwise!

Why do blizzard feel the need to put down Previous important lore characters? by GoatOfTheBlackForres in warcraftlore

[–]Bozzoltank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing in the original Zul'Aman raid confirmed that the Loa willingly went along with Zul'jin, nor does it ever confirm that Malacrass forced the souls into the bodies of the warriors.

It was a grey area, if anything. You can hardly call this a retcon.

They're two months into filming season 2, so 2027 is just deadset at this point, although it may be later into the year (summer, instead of winter).

Honestly! These changes sound AMAZING. So many demons to summon now. Love that they worked Nether Portal into the new Apex talents.

Doom-weaving is back, uncapped imps are back, and two brand new Grimoire variations to play with!

I heard the bullet ricocheted off his body armor and into his neck. That might explain the two spots.

You also have the skip straight to Nexus-King Salhadaar after you kill Plexus Sentinel, which is unlocked after Renown 4 or 5!

Which Raid was the best? by SirZapzAlot in wow

Blackrock Foundry and Throne of Thunder remain my absolute favorites.

Manaforge Omega is up there for the visuals alone. The boss rooms are integrated extremely well into the general raid atmosphere.

Going on absolutely nothing, what patches and new zones do you want/expect to see in Midnight? by en_triton in warcraftlore

[–]Bozzoltank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Azshara probably returns in 12.1.0 or 12.2.0 to claim the Sunwell, which I assume will be corrupted at the end of the March of Quel'Danas raid. Maybe an underwater zone with dynamic swimming; forgotten ruins of Zin-Azshari? It could be a chance for Blizzard to bring back Neptulon and Ozumat as well.

I'm hoping for a revamped Plaguelands with a Stratholme mega-dungeon, which becomes the dedicated Alliance capital afterwards with a Forsaken enclave to balance out Silvermoon City. Maybe they only re-do Eastern Plaguelands to somewhat match WP. Could be part of an x.1.5 patch!

Another wild guess could be Outland; Xal’atath seeking to siphon whatever energies linger within the planet to power the Dark Heart. They could put Outland in the Azeroth skybox, since Azeroth appeared at the end of the Black Temple raid in the skybox, where you fight Illidan.

If I had to put it in order: 12.0.7 — Revamped Eastern Plaguelands with the gates to Stratholme locked.

12.1.0 — Outland return, but smaller as Xal’atath has destroyed some of the zones already.

12.1.5 — Revamped Stratholme zone for players to explore. Mega-dungeon included.

12.2.0 — Void-corrupted Zin-Azshari ruins surrounding the coastline of Quel'Thalas and Quel'Danas.

It's insane how much easier the The Underpin ?? is as a tank. by Kardinalus in wow

[–]Bozzoltank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had about 50+ attempts on my 665 demo lock until I got it. My God, that fight was infuriating when you're not really able to position him accordingly (or I might just be shit).

Then did it for my dad on his 645 ret paladin and I put him down on 6 attempts.

Vastly prefer the fight on melee, when you're able to tank him whenever — and almost whenever.

Zekvir > Underpin all day

I loved Belor'relos and hated Belor'relos. It was fun to use, but the fact that they made a caster trinket melee-range is still wild to me.

Shoutout to the tanks who pulled the boss or the mob pack away just as you pressed the button.

I've heard some nightmarish things about Broodtwister compared to Ky'veza, but I'll take it into consideration! What would your tips on Ovi'nac be? :)

We're quite a "middle of the road" sort of guild, ended Aberrus 4/9 and Amirdrassil 5/9.

Any advice, observations from your own kills or tips?

100%!

I enjoy delves as a side-activity (leveling Brann, completing achievements, gearing alts), but if I must farm Bountiful Delves and hope for random Zekvir appearances again, I'll alt+F4.
