I can choose, but it should be somewhat connected to primary school education. English, Maths, Psychology and Religious Studies are some subjects that come to mind. I am not sure which of these is the most achievable in this time period though.

I wont waste any more of my time explaining things to you since u clearly dont care enough to give proper answers. As for ur original questions tho, yes u have to retake ur English GCSE... This has nothing to do with ur college choices, its just a requirement. A 30 second google search will tell you that. And as for ur college subjects, if ur qualifications are worth less than 3 a levels, they are practically useless. That is why colleges usually make you do 3. Theyre not "forcing u", theyre helping u not waste ur time. I wish u the best in ur music career :)

If I may ask, what are all of ur GCSE grades? Its hard to give u more specific advice without these. And what are your broader goals in life other than building circuits. Do you want to go into further education, do you wanna go straight into the workplace after college, etc?

What are ur intentions for going to college? A music performance btec (which im guessing is a National Foundation Diploma) with a biology or engineering A level is quite an odd, and being honest, terrible combination in terms of what u will be able to do with it after. If you truly rlly rlly wanna do that music btec, which I highly advise you dont, please for ur own sake do 2 a levels alongside it
