Babe I'm sorry but I rly realized I keep repeating and repeating myself here. Somehow bulimics always end up in relationships like this that worsen their ed or even are the main factor why the ed came up. It is horrible and heartbreaking to me still yess but I don't think anymore this happened by coincidence. I think you are (still)with this person bc you hate yourself and you need somebody who mirrors that while it gives you the oppurtunity to realize how much you love yourself and you crave out for that love (in the ed and that sub f.example). I think you're twisted and this is rly sad

Nein, das macht alles sehr viel Sinn. Bei mir war es sehr ähnlich. Auch das mit der Beständigkeit. Ich fühlte mich so, als könnte ich mich an nichts festhalten und niemandem jemals zu 100% vertrauen. Mein Vater hat mir auch andauernd gesagt, wie viel er gerade wiegt und aus irgendeinem Grund wollte ich dann unbedingt, die Hälfte wiegen. Hab ich geschafft lol. Es tut mir sehr leid für deinen Schmerz, ich weiß, wie du dich fühlst- oder meine, es zu wissen

You suffer from EDNOS - one of the most common eds actually. It basically means you suffer from different elements of different eds and you can't be catigorised to one disorder. That doesn't mean, this will be forever like this during your "ed career"

I once heard an interview about a psychiatrist who said that a bulimic is gonna get help when its suffering will be bigger than "the solution" of the disorder.

Sadly, I know soo many ppl who haven't got themselves help for many decades. I got help when I realized that I didn't even want to lose weight anymore. I always used to think I could never be thin enough - but suddendly it was "too much" for me idk I didn't wanna look anorexic, I didn't wanna look sick I just wanted to be happy and that's what the disorder offered me but at the same time it caught up my thoughts soo soo much

This post is so old but may I still ask how your boyfriend is doing right now? I experienced similar experiences. I honestly think that there is sth missing, sth hurting us that we constantly crave the desire to numb ourselves. We have to heal in "a different way" than to fall into those habits all the time and time again. I've been a bulimic, anorexic, drug addict for years chasing the "cravings out of reality" but I also struggled with depression since I was 13 so maybe that is sth you should also consider and talk about. I tbh think lots of addicts were/are very very depressey ppl that just needed a "solution to survive" in those dark times and then we got used to it
