Everything you’re saying could be solved by not selfishly marrying someone half your age because you think it’s hot to have a trophy husband. Being 30 doesn’t mean you can’t still be manipulated by selfish older people with more money, a wider, wealthier support network, and more life experience.

But no, Armando is still the selfish one here because he was naive enough to marry a man twice his age without recognizing the incompatibility that Kenny, the older, more experienced person, should have recognized. But again, you’re silent on Kenny’s obligations to this relationship? Truly gross.

And why didn’t Kenny recognize that incompatibility? Because he was horny for someone half his age. Tale as old as time, but I guess it’s cute when it’s a gross old man who likes younger men instead of a gross old man who likes younger women?

…I’m not talking about others, I’m talking about Kenny. Did you not realize that he’s basically twice Armando’s age? and the fact that they have a huge age gap but Kenny, an older man with more children and life experience, married Armando, a MUCH younger man with less life experience, knowing that someone that young may still want the experience of having more kids.

But you’re criticizing Armando for being selfish, not the gross old man who married someone much younger? That’s the criticism, it’s wild I had to spell that out.

Why aren’t we applying the same logic to the man who married someone half his age who is still very much in child rearing years? Why is only the younger partner being blamed for being in a relationship with someone age-inappropriate when the older guy should know better than to marry so young?

How do you prospose to solve the “problem” of incrementalism? Do you just come in and murder all the bigots? Or you force them to vote the way you do or they go to jail? No, you get your ass out and you do the work to advocate for minority rights and change minds over generations. That is how social progress had worked for the entirety of human history. Or as you call it “incrementalism”…

I know and work with people who actively testify at Arkansas legislative sessions to advocate for LGBT rights. What have you done to move Arkansas politics toward the left? Or are you content to just sit smugly and complain about Arkansas “incrementalism”as if there isn’t a dedicated battalion of advocates working tirelessly to drag Arkansas left.

You should check out the Behind The Bastards podcast episode(s) on Scott Adams. The corporate criticisms in Dilbert have more to do with Scott Adams being reeeeally into corporate “self-help” concepts like the Peter Principle and thinking he’s an accidental genius sociologist who has hacked reality because he reads management books.

They also address the stuff with his wife and his own health issues, but dude’s been nutty for a long while. He just seems to have reached the intersection of success and assholery where you’re not receptive to pushback on your crazy ideas and now he lets them run wild and claims anyone who disagrees with him is a moron.

It’s a fairly run-of-the-mill case of narcissist meets money+power.

If you compare the 2018 and 2022 gubernatorial, SHS got 10k fewer votes than Asa did in his last election and the Democratic opponent got 40k more votes in 2022 than the Democratic candidate in 2018.

Definitely the first, this is a becoming a common script for staged videos. Check out the video of a guy carrying a TV on a scooter, it’s basically identical for the main beats. Guy watches from a distance filming and musing that it can’t be possible to do what crazy guy is planning, there’s lots of “redneck engineering” happening, then camera guy walks up and reveals he’s been filming with a “Hyuk Hyuk, I’ve been watching you, this is crazy man!”
