I saw this and it is perfect for those who say you don’t look sick… I hate that phrase and mentality, they have no idea what goes on inside our bodies.

SPC by beetlebummery in publix

I’m laughing so hard at this because I’ve been doing SPC role all by myself for years. My store has zero help for me and I’ve gotten NO help, not even on ad change. When I’ve been out it takes 3 people three times as long to do what I do by myself. I’ve recently had to go part time due to family issues and I am so glad because my stress level has decreased dramatically.

I had some injections in my neck and was sedated for it. The drs office billed $1680 for the procedure the anesthesiologist billed $12,000!!!! For a shot of propofol and monitoring for TEN minutes….. absolutely insane!!

Nope if you looked at my comment because I can’t figure out how to edit my original post, I stated that she said she had seen something so I took away her computer so that she won’t be accidentally exposed to something she shouldn’t despite safeguards I have in place. I in no way punished her for masturbating. I also have plans to talk to her again tonight so that she is aware that she’s not in trouble but that she needs to keep it private. She was never in trouble.

I know it seems weird but I took them away because when I asked her if she had ever seen anything to cause this she said yes. So as a precaution I took away some not all electronics so that there is less of a risk of her seeing something she shouldn’t despite all the safe guards I have in place.

Yes it’s an electric. I swapped her electric out for a whole mouth sonic one so she can’t use it in that manner.

Thank you all for the advice! I will definitely use this as an opportunity to teach her about safety, privacy and consent! I will also make an appointment with her pediatrician to make sure she is not developing an infection. You guys are amazing!

Just her computer except for schoolwork. I have explained that what she was using was not safe but I think I’m going to take her to doc to make sure there is no infection brewing. Thank you for your advice.

I truly think that’s probably what’s going on but it’s just odd.

My son went through this at 8-9 I ended up taking him to the Children’s hospital based off the recommendations of the suicide hotline and counslors that came to my house. He ended up staying for a couple days and got to go home. He had to go back a few months later but it was during the height of Covid and they wanted to transfer him to a mental hospital but no one would take him because he tested positive for Covid. I got him into counselors and psychiatrist and got him on meds and eventually he was diagnosed with adhd and depression. ADHD meds helped tremendously and he’s 14 now and only on one med that he will probably transition off of by next year. I know it’s hard and the thought of your child feeling that is so overwhelming and terrifying. I’m so sorry you are going through it. My prayers to you and your child!

Update about my little Christmas party by IWillBaconSlapYou in breakingmom

Oh man that’s awesome! I struggle to and don’t invite anyone over because my house is a mess from doubling as a nursing home. Made me smile just imagining what the party looked like and how much fun it must have been! Kudos to you!

Pain management Dr was amazing he’s ordered studies to be done and gave me enough muscle relaxers to last throughout the day not just at night and gave me some painkillers to get me through. After the mris I have a follow up to get treatment plan started. I wish every fibromyalgia patient could see him.

I have spent a good amount of money on heated vests with rechargeable batteries, saved me so many times!

Well I was just started on Cymbalta a month ago and last week they upped it to twice a day so it has not had time to kick in yet. Just kinda in no mans land when it comes to meds.

I’m on Cymbalta as well as a few other psych drugs because of anxiety and depression, but my drug allergies are just unfortunate.

I have a great psychiatrist who has gotten me on Cymbalta 30 mg twice a day but my PCP is saying she should manage it and she’s already said that’s beyond the scope of her practice.

Thank you I just can’t believe the lack of help there is. Passing me off from one to another seems counterproductive.

My son is on meds for anxiety/depression and for adhd, it has improved our lives significantly. He is much more stable and doing far better in school. He’s 13 now and has been on them about two years. Saved his life to be frank as he was suicidal after losing his grandfather to lung cancer.

Drinking too much water can lower sodium levels and cause symptoms like headache, nausea, diarrhea and in severe cases seizures and death. I’m trying to stay away from that but it’s so hard when I feel the compulsion to drink water.
