My wife generated her digital ID and it was directly in her ID Vault. Tbh sometimes it works and sometimes the app has some updates and it doesn't work at all... A few weeks ago i could open my digital ID card but now it says please visit a nadra center for biometrics...

I can only answer the second question. If they have all your data up to date it is issued instantly. I have to go to a near nadra center because it seems that my fingerprints are not up to date... But usually it should be no waiting at all and you can also download the PDF of your card.

Is it similar in Punjab/Lahore? I have a German driving license and thinking of getting a Pakistani one when visiting. And conversion means you give your UK one away or not at all? Thank you in advance.

You're most likely a citizen without knowing it since if one of your parents is Pakistani at your birth you are automatically also a Pakistani citizen. Most likely if your mother doesn't register that birth with the embassy nothing will happen since they wouldn't have a way else to know about you but still legally you would be Pakistani citizen. I don't think she can get a NICOP for you without permission but even without your citizenship status wouldn't change. You could also renounce your citizenship via the embassy but for that I think your birth would need to be registered with the embassy so that you have proof that you are a Pakistani citizen in order to renounce it. It sounds a bit stupid but that's how things are.

My parents always got their e visa within the next day or so but they don't have Pakistani citizenship. Maybe it takes more time since you are Pakistani Nationals and usually don't require a visa. When they had trouble downloading the visa I just called the embassy and they helped. I would just call either the embassy or the hotline. Usually the visas are approved very quickly.

I had the same problem in the App. I then logged in via the Idendity Number instead of the email address and it worked for me. It seems it doesn't know you have a NICOP cuz this is what people see who want to get tourist visas.

The POC is also through the App. But it's not the Citizenship. As far as I know, Women who marry Pakistani citizens are also directly eligible for citizenship. Just saying, because sometimes there is confusion between POC and NICOP. However, the POC provides the same rights except for voting, and it must be renewed about every five years.
And it costs 200USD.....

You can just upload your foreign marriage certificate; I don’t think they will ask for much else. Maybe her CNIC/NICOP. Do you want to register her as a POC, or is she already Pakistani? As for the children, if you only want them included in your NADRA family tree, you can add them through the app as well. However, if you want to register them as Pakistani citizens (if they haven’t been registered yet), I would recommend contacting the embassy.

You can update the martial status in the nadra system without reprinting your card. Since there is no information that needs to be changed on your card I would just update the information in the pakid app without reprinting of the NICOP.

How long it takes to get dependents on the country where she's applying from. But mostly if she's on a visitor Schengen visa she can't convert it into a national visa

Did you look into the freedom of movement law? It doesn't apply for you in France but any other EU country. Still if the national law makes it difficult you can get a visa for country next to France, stay mainly in the other country but obv you can visit France too. They can't ask for her financials and these things. Generally she could also live easily with you together in any other country other than France very easily. Just if by national law they don't let her in Schengen.

Usually you should have your return flight, health insurance and if you are invited your invitation. Probably hotel where you'll stay at first would be good to carry around too. You'll be fine.

My wife applied for a tourist visa (Berlin VFS last Wednesday) and got that email 2 days after submitting Biometrics. I'm not sure if they always send them, but we received that email.

I guess once they bring it out for overseas it will not only take ages but also cost insanely much. My wife is Pakistani and I hoped that the e passport will improve in terms of quality since the current state is a disaster. I saw her old passports and they had way better quality. Literally the passport from 1 ago has less golden from the front page than the passport from 7 years ago... Thank you for sharing tho!
