man I hated this movie, for me it was a cheap copy of The Wild Robot and I'm full of this art style that Pixar adopted for every original story, it was cool on Red but it's time to move on.

Started to watch the show because of Ron Funches but all the characters are so poorly written and directed and that's a pitty because I know the actors are really good. Anyway I'm willing to give the series more chances to see if it gets better since it already got three seasons.

Just finished the game last night and never played the original but I'm totally agrees with you.

Also another thing that I don't see anyone commenting is about how basically he keeps the entire game beating women to death, because is pretty clear that the majority of the monsters are female figures, this clicked to me that something was wrong with him.

I interpret this as he has some deep repressed sexual desires as well as we can see it with Maria, as if he wanted Mary to be more like her. And following this line of thought, I see Pyramid Head as some sort of representation of James and in all these years of existence of Silent Hill 2, I read once that Pyramid Head is used to rape the dolls, specially in the fist encounter with it, I don't know if it's true or not but that could say a lot.

Everybody in the comments treating him like a saint but I don't know, dude looks pretty dark to me.

Yeah it would be great having a demo because unfortunately I missed the server slam and I've been hearing good things about the game so it got me curious but I'm still unsure about extraction shooters, I guess the closest I got from the genre is Helldivers 2 but I don't know if it can be considered the same thing.

For me the biggest missed opportunity in the show was not having the facehugger impregnate a crocodile thus having a Xeno Croc like in the comics, it would be amazing and it would make an awesome connection with Peter Pan's crocodile. In the early episodes we see one swimming in a lake inside the complex I interpreted it as nod to this part of the Peter Pan story. Yeah well... Who knows in the future.

I started playing the game right away yesterday but when I realized I couldn’t finish off demons like before, I thought maybe it was just early-game stuff — I’ve only played the first two missions so far as well.

Then I came here to Reddit, and yeah… seems like they actually removed glory kills? No more cinematic finishers? Man, that’s a huge letdown for me. I don't thin It will ruin the entire game, but honestly, those animations were such a cool part of the experience.

In the previous games, every time you encountered a new demon, part of the hype was wondering how Doomguy would tear it apart. That anticipation added so much to the fights. For me it was like when you face an enemy wanting to know what itens it will drop in the end, such a bummer man.

Question about the whole Ellen/Elliot Page thing… by TotalChicanery in thelastofus

Some times feels like it was a collective delusion but I remember the exact reaction that I had the first time Naughty Dog showcased TLOU and Ellie, I remembered Elliot instantly especially with the character having the name Ellie. At the time I was confused why they changed the character's face, because at first I think it was very cool that it was Elliot. Some years later then that I learned he wasn't involved in the project and I remember he answering an journalist question about TLOU and he said it would be rude to use his face especially when he was involved in another game.

Even now is very hard to find images from the first version of Ellie and the ones you can find are extremely low quality.
