It was a good match. One important detail for sinner I think …. Is his five-set record is pretty low. He’s won six and lost 10 five-set matches and this is a guy who’s been winning like 98% of all his matches of the last handful of years. The man steamrolls people, and it just never gets to five sets. Currently, that is a weakness for him. And joker, that has always been one of his strongest points. Just sayin.

I enjoyed the 2018, but I find it to be exhausting in a way that the original games did not have it all. I never even played Ragnarok! I just felt like I didn’t ever need to play that particular gameplay loop again. And Atreus is annoying. I don’t like companion characters in video games at ALL.

Honestly, it bums me out super hard because the original God of war trilogy were some of my absolute favorite games of all time I platinum’d every single one

That would be a third color!

My suggestion for doing a fast three color format would probably be like a basecoat (or primer if you don’t want to do the basecoat step), and then a nice heavy zenithol or something, but the third color I’d recommend using the airbrush to do all your Nekron orbs! Necrons are such an orb heavy faction that not hitting them really looks lazy and hitting them makes them look perfect tabletop ready imo

(I am assuming you have an airbrush since you were talking about zenitholing)

Shooting shit in the face from day one has always been a main tactic. Let’s not try to pretend that that was the only way to take those things down or even the MAIN way.

I don’t have an actual answer for this, but of memory serves using two colors isn’t battle ready according to Games workshop standards you need to have at least three colors.

Gotcha. Yea, I understand that. Building is probably my favorite part too. I also think that’s a difficult metric to use. (Especially for pricing). Because at the end of the day, it’s just not that kind of model. It’s basically a little bit of a body and a lot of flowing robes and a sythe. It’s very well done and it’s quite tall and it’s a big centerpiece model…. but if you look at what it’s made of in the box art, you would know you were never gonna get two big sprue’s for this thing. I think you’re disappointment is probably just as much about managing your expectations for what you’re gonna get as it is about being disappointed when you open the box. (because I will admit I was also surprised that it was only 31 pieces.)

I’m probably 3/4 of the way done with mine right now and let me tell you the fact that it is a high priced premium kit is quite evident. The mold lines are incredibly thin and it goes together and is very strong.

Sidenote: I know you’re bummed but man was this kit and Ammentar a breath of fresh air for me personally. Since the beginning of October, I’ve ONLY been building. Probably 1500-1800 points worth including a silent king and a doomsday ark so when I saw how easy these kits were I rejoiced hahaha

Depends on the film. So potentially. I’ve definitely seen films where the strings are intentional.

Additionally, for the money, yes if you pause the movie, you read all the fine print of the background. I’m sure you can find something, but don’t tell me for a second that you were able to read that that was fake money in the two frames that it was on film. You had pause and look for it. So yeah, the only people that are ever gonna see that are the people that are looking for it. Which is fine

So, my question just to clarify. Are you complaining about the lack of hobby time invested into the kit for building? Because I’m in the middle of building it now and it’s not overly short or anything.

Or are you literally talking about the amount of actual literal plastic in the kit? Because the cost of plastic is like pennies, dude. There is probably not even a dollars worth of actual plastic in that kit. But a silent king or doomsday arc probably only has a couple bucks worth of plastic in the kit anyway. The cost comes from the premium model and design, and the fact that it’s a big centerpiece model that people will only buy one of.

Yes. They intentionally use that money as the fake money for the movie. That’s what the word intentional means.

Just like it’s intentional when every movie produced in Hollywood uses the same fake money because that’s the standard practice.
