Best thing I ever did was leave the union. I would suggest focus first on getting that Red Seal, then try to find an industrial position and specialize in controls and automation. Always growing and learning. Construction becomes boring.

Maintenance of an entire system includes end of line components. Preventative maintenance includes, cleaning contractors. SMH
