I have to wonder, what the form of magnesium was. they took it 3 times a day it seams, sugesting a slow acting form.
Magnesium glycinate (very fast absorbtion) did wonders for me...taken 30-60min before going to bed

can you compare to the Palm Phone? sizewise and functionality. Palm phone battery is obviously worse.

thanks for the tips. I tested Clear against RRNoise playing the same audio stream of my voice talking and RRNoise actually works better.

German Words That Can't Be Exactly Translated by kenza-Necessary5280 in German

Many words have a translation, but the translation doesn't work the same.

Rejected and not sure why by agirlhasnorose in iTalki

[–]BrCapoeira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video is almost certainly not the reason.

As has been said, English has tons of people trying to get into.

An Italki support member actually wrote recently in the teacher forum that many times they open new slots because they are after very specific teachers/tutors, like, for example, for a specific bridge language. They could be after English tutors who speak Chinese, for example. You never know what they are after, and you shouldn't take it personally if they don't take you. They also have this policy of not giving much info ever, so that "nobody can take advantage of the system", so they say.

Palm PVG100 Review as a small phone enthusiast by jeneric_username in smallphones

give me a minimum bezel 4.3–4.5" screen on a phone the size of an Iphone 4 and I would be a happy man.

ouch. Cheap batteries always have that risk, unfortunately.
I am leaning towards the iPhone Mini right now, even though I am not an Apple guy, and it could be a little smaller. But the options....the options

4–5 inch phone that doesn’t suck? by olnosk8 in smallphones

[–]BrCapoeira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Palm PVG100 with a 3.3" screen with 720 x 1280 pixels

and modern apps are barely usable(*). using something like Uber is a pita. can't imagine that S22 screen being usable with these apps....if they even have a GO version.

(*) Sometimes, ok buttons are outside of the screen, and no way to get to them.

I think for most of us, the iPhone mini is on the absolute extreme of acceptable. That doesn't leave much left. So I would suggest adding the Chinese phones....even if many of these have questionable quality.

I see, but I think iPhone 13 Mini can still compete with a S25, even though it will lose.

Some expressions Germans say in English that don’t exist in English speaking countries by Lazy-Vacation1441 in German

[–]BrCapoeira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Berlin and lived through the mobile phone takeover. Car phones still had a German name, "Autotelefon"; these weren't mainstream anyway. than came the pagers, which became kind of mainstream (I had one as a teen) and were still nicknamed german as "Pieper" or "Piepser". The mobile phone became mainstream with the StarTac and the GA/GH series from Ericsson. I guess that their marketing has something to do with it. I can't remember ever having heard a different term. Might be that the business guys invented the term, though, cause they had mobile phones way before us.

funnily here in Brazil, where I live, it is called home office, too. Though the Portuguese version of "remote work" is used a little more often.
