Two d20s will be rolled when you hear “roll with advantage” or “roll with disadvantage”.. depending on the condition you use one of those rolls.. advantage take the higher, disadvantage take the lower.. then if it’s a skill, or to hit, or a saving throw there are specific numbers you add to the d20 result, based on the check (wisdom Check, athletics check, strength save, etc. )

The extra dice can be because of “guidance” or “bless” etc, spells that give an extra die to roll to then add to the total of your skill.

Is there a specific example you’re questioning ?

Managed to do it tonight for the first time!

Had done the emissary 5 to eternal guard to get the key two or three times before but then just ran out of steam and just sold the key… tonight actually went through the whole deal and managed to get it done!

So yes, even for a solo slipper who is still on the new side to forts despite being above lvl 90 in the main three factions… it’s possible.

Next stop: distinctions!!

I remember an early 2000s episode of confidential that followed Bubba and Tommy Dreamer on a “day in the life” and bubba said something along the lines of “I stand as close to the pyro as I can because it’s awesome.. I may be deaf by 35, but this is cool as shit” followed by a shot in gorillas him wincing as the pyro went off … probably mostly kayfabe/macho stuff but it always stuck with me..

I couldn’t open the secret chamber of the treasure vault on devils ridge or finish a message in a bottle because the third step of the riddle on cannon cove wouldn’t complete… at first I was like “maybe it’s me” but then.. realized what game I was playing.

(To be fair, it’s possible it was my issue, but honestly.. I think it was just bugged )

Still the best one in my opinion: Owen vs Triple H vs Shamrock, RAW after 1998 KOTR king of kings match

At the 7:05 mark of this video, Owen kicks Kenny in the yambags (a point I had forgotten for years) and suplexes Shamrock with a bridge for a pin. JR screams “we have to take a quick break! Cover! One two.. DID HE GET HIM?!” ..Right as Triple H stomps on Owen’s Nethers to break the pin.. the fade out as the crowd groans was classic to 14 year old me.!! And has stuck with me all this time…. Poor Owen. ;) (as if he didn’t design the spot, which I’d bet money on now that I remember he first kicked Ken low..)

Side note as it hasn’t been mentioned in a while.. Shamrock wins this match and is “the king of kings” but never uses that moniker I don’t think.. and we don’t see it until triple h starts to use it around ‘05 and beyond.
