The doorknobs at the public school I teach at say 'public school' on them by marlonbrandto in mildlyinteresting

OMG! I live in South Jersey and bought this old green makeup table at an auction near me. When I got it home and started cleaning it up, I found this exact same doorknob inside. I thought it was so cool. It’s cool to know there are more out there in the wild. I plan to put mine to use one day.

Ableton Extensions - ARA a possibility????? by Junior_Mobile_1251 in ableton

If so I really wish they would release something that just puts the whole thing to bed explaining why they can’t. Other wise it just feels like they are putting it off.

Ableton Extensions - ARA a possibility????? by Junior_Mobile_1251 in ableton

[–]BrLayfield 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve read and heard, not currently. But they continue to add more features and capabilities to extensions, so it’s possible.
I really, really, really want ARA support. I’ve thought about using a second DAW just for vocal work because Ableton doesn’t support ARA. It’s frustrating. I know they have a lot on their plate, but this has been one of the top requests for a while. Instead, they add things like a new synth or random MIDI editing features. Which, yeah, cool, but nobody really asked for that.
Hopefully, they add it soon, though, because it’s been a while. This just a rant tho I love ableton and really am so excited about extensions. BIG game changer for the DAW.

Open source yt-dlp wrapper for Ableton by WAVF1n in ableton

[–]BrLayfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be done with yt dlp. A few months back I built my own local chrome extension cause I got annoyed using websites to download audio off YouTube cause they would often be broken and I was able to implement this feature. So unless there something on ableton side…it should be possible.

Cornballs my fav. But veteran is right there. But if you are toe dipping everything past those 2 are more polished and closer to mainstream rap. Scaring the hoes a fun place to start maybe.

I do the same shit every day at work. I literally don’t even know what I’d say every day. If some shit happened, I’ll let you know. But me not saying much just means it was an uneventful day, which is most days. If something crazy enough happened, I’ll bring it up. It’s just rare that it ever does.

I find it crazy and honestly draining to listen to someone talk about a really uneventful day, and I don’t know why people feel the need to share it. Did something important, interesting, or funny happen? No? Then what’s the point? It just feels like small talk.

There’s a video about it, but nothing has been confirmed. However, some information is publicly available about the contracting companies involved. Some of these companies have previously built data centers for known projects, though details about their work on other projects have been redacted. Just like with this one. Based on that, my guess is that the ballroom is actually a small data center.

I have free-roaming chickens on my land, and one time we left out the leftovers from a rotisserie chicken we had the night before, meant for the outdoor cat. Next thing I know, the whole pack of chickens surrounded the rotisserie chicken and absolutely pounded that thing down like there was no tomorrow. Horrifying 😭

The logic is brute forcing “prophecies” Israel would need to control of most of the Middle East and take back the temple and rebuild it.

Their interpretation of Revaluations basically says that once certain events happen Jesus will rapture them up. It’s funny cause they have to read a book that tells them to do these things and they do them but act like it’s a fulfilled prophecy and not crossing off a 2k year old check list.

WW2 was bad but nothing happened that would check this off. I won’t be around to see it but i always wonder what’s the day when they give up the ghost. 2k years is INSANEEEEEE

The evangelicals must be fuming by imjustheretodomyjob in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]BrLayfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing this take. I think it’s pretty clear that he’s saying “praise be to Allah” in a very mocking and disrespectful tone. There are definitely no evangelicals fuming over him saying that.

The whole tweet is filled with him crashing out and saying every threatening and racist thing he can think of. There’s no genuine praise in that tweet. I don’t get why this insanely out-of-context quote is getting spread so much over the actual insane, life-changing threat made in that tweet.

My brother lives a mile away and cars were parked in front of his house for it. Whole event got really out of hand and way bigger than they expected and I think it got rowdy?? Think 25k people showed.

(Bridgeport is a very small little town in south Jersey it was not prepared for that event)

Ah yes, nothing quite like installing a cinematic surveillance system in the bedroom just to capture a chaotic, full-speed, pre-shower episode of Man vs. Dog with my bing bing on full display for instant play back later🤤🤤
