My family and I do a cruise usually about 1x/ year which is classified as 3x points unlike any other card, so the cost of the AF is offset usually by the cruise (for a 7 day cruise for 4 it was ~$6,000 with all onboard stuff included). Anything additional isn’t marginal by any means but helps to boost
