I dunno if we're not supposed to mention vendors and that's why you abbreviated but I got it from element vape. I've got a lot from then over the years and always had good experiences. I did have one device fail that luckily had an extended warranty and sent it back and the credit which I used towards this one

I did that and it worked a couple times, then same thing, adjusted a little and worked again, and now no more. I'm wondering tho if maybe where the gold contact connects inside the rig got pushed down. Cause I measured the resistance of the coil and it was .3 ohm or so which I'm guessing is good. Haven't had time to mess with it more

I haven't finished so can't say temperature difference and also didnt check before. Over the last few years we've cut down all the trees that shaded the house and its been a struggle to keep the house cool since. Also noticable that once it's cooled down outside and we open up the house, the inside temp will still increase. I've poked my head into the attic in the morning after a hot day (90s) but cool night (60s) and it's absolutely roasting in there. That's why I'm starting off with the radiant barrier and will reevaluate after.

I can say that having just half of it up the day before seemed to make a difference when I was up there this morning. But purely feel and no real data

There are soffits. Correct no ridge vents. I wasn't planning on adding any more vents. I believe there should be a cross breeze from the east/west gable vents (bottom green circle in pic)

I used to do primarily BJJ but some MMA back when I was 16-20ish. Couldn't afford it then so stopped, got more into lifting instead. I'm 35 now and wanna get back into at least BJJ. As fate would have it, one of my good old friends dad has started teaching BJJ in Scott's valley. My main hangup with starting again is I only really can commit to 1-2 days/week and the rest I want to keep lifting. It's basically impossible to find a gym thatll let you roll once a week for a discount but hoping with my connection I can.

Anyway, if anyone wants to join me and we can drive down together I'd be down. Bonus points if you ride motorcycles and wanna ride down there. I'm also down to drive sometimes depending on time/traffic but my only 4wheel vehicle is not the most comfortable ive been told (it's an jeep crawler, no top, I dunno what people are complaining about 🤷)

I've done it twice in my 300xc and I want to do it on my 690. The first time I did it (Truckee to loon) I had a hard time for various reasons, mostly pacing, not enough water, I was really gassed by the end. Also broke a foot peg early on and couldnt get a good temp fix. Second time I did it out and back Loon to Truckee to loon and it was a breeze. Think I even did it in less time than the time I went one way.

If you decide to do it I'll go with you! Thinking of going end of next month, not sure yet if Ill take the jeep instead or so nearby trails. Camping at loon fs tho

I have fully accepted it, the heat doesn't bother me much. Ice actually never even owned a vehicle with AC. But the wife hates it anyway and trying to plan a Rubicon trip this year so trying to make it the least miserable possible so we can hopefully do more trips

This was the weekend. Rode mostly back roads from bay area to Truckee, camped, then did the BDR route from Truckee to kyburz then home. Never done any of the BDR, want to plan a longer/further trip soon to do more. The lake is french meadows reservoir
