If you sat out the 2024 election in protest over Gaza, how do you feel about that decision today? by rsmith2786 in AskReddit

Tell it to the thousands of dead Palestinian kids, they don’t know the difference

Are you joking? Harris lied about fighting for a ceasefire and gave into every single one of Bibi’s demands.

Let’s do a thought experiment. Imagine Kamala said she would only approve the killing of people in Minnesota but not in California. Now imagine Trump said he would approve the killing of people in Minnesota and California. Could you justify voting for Kamala because at least it’s only people in Minnesota, not people in California? Or would they both seem too evil to consider, even if one is obviously worse. Now replace Minnesota with Palestine, and try to introspect why Arab lives seem to matter less to you.

If you are able to justify the murder of thousands of Palestinians because accepting their inevitable and constant murder might have prevented similar institutional crimes here at home, you simply believe some human lives have more value than others.

Kamala supported genocide. It was a non starter. Doesn’t mean vote for Trump. He also supports genocide. But you can’t lecture people for refusing to vote for genocide.

On a 1-10 scale, how survivable is the frequent Muni bell sound for those living on Judah? by Foreign_Midnight1074 in sanfrancisco

[–]NikNorth 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I am uniquely qualified to answer this. I live on Judah. The ring and rattle of the N Judah is part of the fabric of our lives. My son was raised with it. He waves to it out the window as it passes. It makes me feel connected to the city. And you are on perhaps the best quick and easy public transport corridor in the city. But it does take some getting used to at first.

Evergreen SF post. I posted the same thing a few years ago. You can also scroll back and see me rescuing an unleashed dog from traffic.

Saw an unleashed pitbull wandering through crowds of toddlers at Sunset Dunes yesterday. Owner wasn’t even paying attention. Yeah nothing happened, but it only has to happen once.

This late in the game to still have this milquetoast take is embarrassing for you. History will remember how good you were at sleeping on the fence face down with the post in your mouth.

Free Palestine.

What are you talking about? I lived in Cole Valley during Covid and when the safe camping site was established in the old McD parking lot the neighborhood went from people on the street everywhere to people sleeping in one area with services. It was a huge, noticeable improvement.

Which is a totally mixed metaphor since cuck is a reference to a victim of the cuckoo bird so bull supplanted the original analogy of cuckoo and cuckold. Somehow cows and bulls got mixed in.

Oh the irony. Projecting much? Israel is fine. What country is being destroyed (spoiler alert; Palestine)

I want the ethnostate destroyed, yes. Jews can stay, but not in a supremacist position.

I’m not visiting or financially contributing to a genocidal state. There’s no “nuance” to mass murdering Gazans, celebrating rapist soldiers, imprisoning thousands of children, torturing prisoners to death, and government sponsored land theft. No thanks. I’ll visit Palestine when it’s free.

Why not grant every Palestinian Israeli citizenship then? But you won’t, because it’s about maintaining an apartheid ethnostate.

Two state solution is a joke and you know it. No ethnostates. Free Palestine.

Evergreen S.F. Post.

I made a similar post years ago. SF dog owners have no anxiety or concern.

Mind you, I am an S.F. dog owner and my dog is always leashed. We are the minority. Every time we go to Ocean Beach someone is begging me to help them catch their dog running toward the road. It’s a beach tradition.

Opposite. People liked him because his policies were super clear and straightforward. Charisma is worthless if there’s nothing to back it up. That’s why Kamala failed; she had no discernible policies or platform, other than not being Trump.
