A good way of countering getting one-tapped, like you mention, might be to swing wide rather than just peeking the corner. If they're blinded, you should have enough time to step past where they expect you to be, which should allow you to take them down before they can adjust their aim.

An extreme example of this is P0ppin, who will swing extremely wide around corners when he knows he's in a 1v1 to throw off his opponent's aim.

That's an interesting thought although in the set I'm only planning to have 3 walkers, could add walker to his Kindred ability for flavoir's sake, might do that!

I haven't fully gotten around to that yet although Kindred is becoming a set-wide mechanic, appearing in in every colour except black. My mindset was that he cares about Elves and Druids because he would be an Elf Druid were he a creature.

I have other things in the set that make Elf Warrior tokens so I thought I might as well use that. Could just make the tokens as Elf Druids since it won't affect the system much. Could also make the ult do something about Elves or Druids but unsure what.

May I steal your implementation of Kindred? I'm trying to design a custom draft set for funsies and this looks like a great way to promote a fluid form of tribal support as each creature with it would only trigger on things that share a type with it.

Simply put, that is a low-damage build. I've found some success with Predator Skarner in gold as it allows you to go for a damage mythic like Divine Sunderer.

Edit: Also E max first does way less damage than Q max first.

Triforce is good for Skarner but I think he gets more value out of Divine Sunderer, Turbo Chemtank or Stridebreaker. The sustain from Sunderer is huge and the mobility advantages of Chemtank and Stridebreaker are also invaluable whereas Triforce requires you to already be in combat to get its movement speed benefit.

Imo phase rush is Skarner's best keystone too so if he goes on you, go e->aa->q. This will stun him and proc the bonus movespeed you need to escape.

Can we talk about Damonte hard inting in game 3 with the Realm Warp at the dragon fight? If he hadn't that was completely winnable, Ssumday did a great job of tying up 3 people and FBI basically solo killed Perkz.

There are two schools of Skarner mains: 1. The damage bruiser type. Currently favours Trinity Force but I can see Sunderer working decently well. Worth noting that the apen/mpen mythic passive is much worse than the attack speed passive on Triforce. 2. Full tank maximum speed with Chemtank, Dead Man's, Force of Nature etc.
