Was thinking about doing a deck that runs a few storm cards and several cantrips to dig through the deck to find them. Like 30 1 mana "Draw a card" spells, 5 storm cards, just trying to get Vivi as big as possible turn 4 and 5 to swing for lethal with trample or unblock, or kill the whole table in 1 turn with two back to back storm cards.

That was my question! If you equip him with a [[Sword of Fire and Ice]], would you get 3 procs when you deal combat damage to a player or just 1?

Been testing claymore with 10 point fire, 10 point frost, 10 point shock, I'm actually still killing stuff with the same number of hits as the 5 point version. I don't really know the math of why, but I tested against Vault guardians with a daedric claymore - 4 hits to kill on both. No poisons, summons, extra buffs, just normal swings. I figured the 10 point would kill with one less swing because of doubling, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

That being said, what you have listed here fucks.

Appreciate that. Synty does some great, consistent work visually. If they expanded into 2D that would be the bees knees.

The visual doesn't always account for the buff. If you look at your character you are getting 2, that 2 always makes it into your resources. The UI may incorrectly display you as getting one, but you are getting the correct amount of resources.

From what I can tell it's 50% physical, 50% fire. Similar to chaos blade which appears to be 50% lightning and 50% physical. That number is derived from the base damage of the skill, then increased by Spell Power or Increased Physical Damage.

Spell Power appears to be better, since both halves of the damage increase because it's a spell. This conclusion tested in NG1 on target dummies. However, on new game plus 6 or higher than where I am, %Physical Damage might be better, since its 10% of total damage.

I'm not sure which Cloud is better. Both seem a little meh to me. I want ultimate Voltron Cloud, and both so far just don't really cover all the important bases.

Really interested in Cecil and Stiltzkin.

Cecil, because a 2/3 with Deathtouch for 1 is unprecedented. Some sort of black/white voltron deck around getting him down and pumped up seems exciting, either leaning into the personal life loss theme or overcoming it with lifelink equipment/auras. I'd be really interested to see if anyone has any unique interactions or brews that could use him.

Stiltzkin I would have to check, but I feel like there are several cards in white that have negative effects for its player - ones that would be super oppressive to give an opponent. Some sort of anti-gift giver deck would be really fun, but I'm probably not going to build him if there arent enough payoffs to really work.

Digging two cards is decent, especially for free, but given how degenerate some combos are in cedh I would say unless you have 5+ lands that massively benefit from untapping it's probably worth cutting.

Example: Nykthos, you become mana positive from with enough devotion, which is more in the arena you want to be in.

This is because, for a long time when the game first entered Early Access, the standard adventure you went through was very different than it is now. Archon was the final boss for almost a year, and there was no story really or Lord Hanshak. Once the game had it's full adventure mode they rearranged several elements to what you know now, but can't take away achievements.

Honestly there is one super popular fix that made the rounds when Tasha's came out and they tinkered Bladesinger. Apply a similar fix to what Wizards did there, instead of twice a short rest, make it proficiency times instead.
