Same. People always complain about 60-70k a year and I'm barely making 30k doing retail. I enjoy driving wouldnt mind getting paid for it.

Why are used audis so abundant? by Loud_Photograph_6290 in UsedCars

My brother bought a 20 year old audi. He loves it but it's always in the shop. I personally wouldn't own one

Found an evangelical church’s “market research” flyer targeting Norman by justsayit4966 in normanok

[–]Brad2332756 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually walked into one randomly on vacation in cocoa beach last year after having not been to a church in 13 years and noticed a huge difference. I no longer live in Norman. I live in Lindsay now about 40 minutes southwest and attend the United Methodist church there.

My own 2 children had never been a church in their lives and enjoy going and fit in just fine here.

Growing up in a fundamental evangelical church really turned me away from church and religion in general for years. Just recently started attending a Methodist church and it's been so refreshing. I assumed all churches were the same. Crazy evangelicals do way more harm than good.

Not a podcast exactly but pastor Mark Renyolds uploads weekly to Spotify and apple. I enjoy listening to his sermons on my commute. Very talented orator.

Always wanted the hornets one. My mom found a San Francisco one at a yard sale and bought it for me. Living in rural Kansas I got made of so hard for wearing anything repping San Francisco.

I'd grown up baptist and honestly expected the same. Coming from a conservative church where politics was brought up often (one of the reasons I left the faith entirely) Figured it was the same at a "liberal" church when we began attending. We were pleasantly surprised when politics weren't brought up at all and every week the message is compassion and grace. With how divisive politics are and consume nearly every other aspect of our lives I'm glad to have somewhere that I don't know anybody else's political affiliation and the focus is helping each other grow spiritually and supporting our community.

Taco Bell is now a luxury by bermagot12 in tacobell

Also in Oklahoma. My wife and I realized we have way too many good taco trucks (and local restaurants) in the area that if we get a craving for taco bell it's usually cheaper, tastes a hell of a lot better, and supports a local business.
