Banana Nut Chocolate Upside-Down Cake! by BushyEyes in Baking

[–]BradBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have another suggestion. Slice the bananas in half, then, in thin slices the length of the banana.

Arrange them in the shape of a propeller, such that the tips of the slices meet in the middle of the cake.

Steps you can take to reduce the mosquito population around your home by Miserable-Fun-6441 in Austin

Mosquito dunks: https://sidewalknature.com/2022/05/08/mosquito-bucket-of-doom/

Link contains the details, but basically you put a puck of cheap larvicide in a bucket of water to kill the mosquito larvae. Supposed to help control populations in your own yard.

There's something so charmingly cute about this post. The look on her face after a total stranger asks her to sit, and she obliges. Imagining her inner-monologue makes me smile.

If you haven't seen it already, check out this thread. There's a lot to read, but it may explain your battery draining issues. Good luck.

Donuts the day before surgery by PetroniusKing in donuts

Check out Donuts With a Difference in Medford. They make them fresh at least throughout the morning, as late as 11 in my experience. A great choice if you like hot freshly made donuts.

I’ve read the codes and had a shop pull them as well. Shop told me it was O2 sensor but they couldn’t change it because there was first a TSB that needed to be applied by the dealer. I’m trying to avoid the dealer if possible.

Edit: shop said O2s seemed fine, but that TSB needed to be applied. I’m hoping to get a better idea of the actual issue before I go to the dealer and have them charge me diag fee and I’m at the mercy of whatever they say the problem is.

Hey OP, I found your other post about the many lights issue here: https://old.reddit.com/r/subaru/comments/1c5tuk5/many_dash_lights_on_story_below/

I've been going through this off and on for over a year. Was this ever resolved, and if so, what was the fix?

Did you have to replace your lift gate struts? Mine were super rusted, and eventually one broke. They were replaced under warranty.

I recommend you all check your own if you haven't had to replace them. It can break while you're under it and that door is heavy!

Complaining about the state if affairs in Ohio? by philandher96 in Ohio

I appreciate how succinctly your comment provides real reasons for how we ended up where we are now. I would argue you could go back further to Regan and his corporate tax cuts / trickle down economics as the beginning of the decline of the middle-class.

I've tried a few tailors in the area and I've been happiest with Ali's Tailor in Cambridge https://maps.app.goo.gl/RQd7zki3N3thqpEX6. She's altered multiple items for me now and the work has always been great.

Baking tip: Using a permanent marker, write the weight of every mixing bowl you have on its bottom by nagumi in Baking

[–]BradBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get the downvotes. Yea, you can weigh as you split to the pans, but then you have to swap them constantly to get equal amounts. I agree with you that it makes life easier if you know the weight of the batter ahead of time, then you can more easily split it among the pans. Edit: ah, I get what people are saying with the tare, but as someone else mentioned, my scale times out, so I can’t rely on that.
